This way of life, pleasantly integrated with mutual cultural understanding, has never been so good. And yet an un-enlightened few remain, and their voices grow stronger, speaking out against the tide of asylum seekers arriving in our land.
These right-wing lunatics can’t see the advantages of a rainbow coloured future, and every new arrival of eastern European, French and American fuels their illogical fire. Keeping them in camps? Feeding them with vouchers? Dressing them in shell-suits? These people have come to our countries, from their own terrible situations, wanting nothing more than the chance to contribute something useful here.And this is how we treat them.
This tide of energetic new workers could bring us to a great new-era, like the Victorian times. Let them all in. Solve the accomodation crisis for aslum seekers, by lashing them together, creating solid structures. Keep asylum seekers in other asylum seekers, not in camps. Solve the transport crisis with a network of immigrant rickshaw drivers. Solve the organ donor crisis, by taking an organ from each man, woman and child that arrives. They’ll give, and they’ll give with a smile.
