Over the last couple of weeks we’ve asked you a merciless barrage of questions. We’ve asked you about hair cuts, we’ve asked you about bread based snacks and medical care in Moseley. Your answers have helped us to analyse piles of raw data to begin to draw the definitive picture of what Moseley looks like in the 21st Century.
As it’s all about feedback these days we thought we’d give you a quick summary of what you told us.
Haircut Sir?
Our first poll was on the controversial subject of haircuts. We’ve got two barbers in the centre of Moseley but which one did you feel was the best?
We gave you the choice of Fino, where conversation is cheap or The Village Barbers. With 15 people voting we can say that this result is statistically significant. By a narrow margin, one vote, Fino wins. This is a testament that men (we assume the votes were from men) really do value the ability to avoid talking to people over the quality of a haircut or ambiance.
We know, from feedback on Twitter that the general mood was that the Village Barbers are better. This mood didn’t transfer into votes and that’s really what matters.
We don’t agree with the result, but it stands. Fino wins.
Sandwiches
Next we asked you, who makes the best sandwiches? Lewis’s or Cafephilia. Only thirteen votes this time but it was a landslide. Only two people voted for Cafephilia, and we know that one of those voted because the building looked nice in the picture.
Overall we’re not too surprised about this. Lewis’s sandwiches are a thing of wonder, without doubt the greatest technical development that has happened to bread. We don’t think this reflects badly on Cafephilia, they were out of their depth from the start. Hopefully they won’t be too disheartened.
Doctors
This one really struck a chord with people. We asked you which is the best Doctors in Moseley and as many as five of you bothered to vote.
The outright winner was Wake Green Surgery, with three votes. Not bad considering they are one of the most complained about surgeries in Birmingham. We hope that this doesn’t reflect too badly on Moseley Medical Practice. After all if the overall cost of cars in a practice in car park is any arbiter of the quality of medicine, we expect some miracle cures down Salisbury Road some time soon.
