It was ironic that given our city wide reputation for being the most pretentious area of Birmingham it was impossible to get a ciabatta with an olive balanced on it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Not any more though. Since Lewis&#8217;s opened just over a year ago the sandwich potential has shot through the roof. It isn&#8217;t unusual to see Moseley residents wolfing down pastrami and gherkins and talking knowledgeably about types of bread that were previously only a dream. Then, more recently, Cafephilia \u00a0popped up to tempt us with yet more bread based snacks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So what we want to know from you is, which sells the nicest sandwiches? Do you like the exotic range from Lewis&#8217;s or do you prefer the more traditional take on the humble sandwich that you&#8217;ll find in Cafephilia?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Have you not bothered to try either?
