Well that&#8217;s what we&#8217;ve been told anyway.<\/p>\n<p>O&#8217;Neils propose to extend their opening hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to Midnight providing us, in real terms, with nearly three extra hours of convivial Irishness a week. This news will be greeted by cheers by the numerous fans of fake plastic pubs but it could also have a stunning impact on the very fabric of our community.<\/p>\n<p>We met the manager of O&#8217;Neils and he (or she) explained the many benefits we can expect &#8220;Aye an&#8217; Begorah there&#8217;ll certainly be one hell of a craic down here of a weekend. Sorry do you mind if I don&#8217;t do the accent? We estimate that by extending the opening hours we should be able to provide an estimated 12% increase in Shirt Wearing Wankers and Painted Slags in the centre of the Village every weekend. This will therefore mean greater profits are ploughed back into Moseley.
