In a number of forms it&#8217;s been providing a much needed service to the people of Moseley for years. In a sense it is a dying breed, there are now only seven places within a half mile radius where you can buy off site alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What many people probably don&#8217;t know is that the distinctive shop fa\u00e7ade isn&#8217;t purely down to a cavalier attitude to signage. We spoke to the Chief Executive of Moseley Wines PLC who gave us an interesting insight into his mind and business. He told us &#8220;I&#8217;ve got two loves in my life, booze and literacy. Actually no, make that three, I love Nick Hewer as well, you know the bloke off Countdown? I love his cutting wit and I learned pretty well everything I know about business from The Apprentice. Hmm, that might explain the high turnover of staff. For years I spent everyday trying to conceive of how I could combine all of the things I love to make Moseley a better a place. Then it came to me, make my shop a living tribute to Countdown.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last few years we have gradually reduced the number of letters giving customers the opportunity to play a real life conundrum.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately now you can only really come up with Mew or Wem. I&#8217;d probably not take Wem as that&#8217;s a small town in Shropshire, are you allowed to have names on Countdown?
