Some of our more eager eyed residents will have noticed there is a void in the centre of Moseley these days. That’s because our street wardens have vanished. For over ten years both of our street wardens have been a fixture in the centre of Moseley cheerily telling people things like “Don’t dump that there”, “You can’t do that here” or even “Go and drink that over there”. Those heady days seem to have come to an end as they’ve vanished leaving a trail of wanton lawlessness in their wake.
Even the Moseley police are bemused by their disappearance. They told us “we’d like to ask all Moseley residents for any help they can give us in trying to find our valued street wardens, no really, we do need help. When things went missing before we used to just send the street wardens out to look for them, they were the only people who knew where anything was.”
Unusually no Councillors seemed that enthusiastic about making any comment on their sudden disappearance, which is odd because over the last ten years they’ve all taken any opportunity to jump on the street warden band wagon.
So it seems that we’ll end up saying a quiet goodbye to Graham and Kim as Moseley let’s another valuable resource slip through its fingers.
I believe former councillor Martin Mullaney is up for the job on a voluntary basis
BOOM, and that’s satire.
I’m afraid your two Labour Councillors for Moseley and Kings Heath Ward got rid of our two Street Wardens. Both Kim and Graham did an excellent job keeping our area clean and safe. It is such a shame that nobody did anything to campaign to save our Street Wardens
